Lip Gee (LG) has over 25 years of experience in presales, client facing solutions architecting, technical support, and technology consulting. He specializes in cloud technologies, data analytics, database architecture, /solution design, big data and enterprise transformation. In his current role, LG is a Data Analytics Sales Specialist supporting enterprises in Malaysia on their data strategy and roadmap. In his previous role in AWS, LG was the Head of Technology for Financial Services and Digital Native sector for AWS. As a Principal Solutions Architect, he provided advisory to major financial institutions in Malaysia on their cloud adoption journey. His focus area is on data & AI strategy, cloud architecture and security & compliance foundation in using cloud in highly regulated industries. He provides advisory to client organizations and helps them to align their business problems to highly scalable solution architectures in the cloud. Prior to this, LG has also worked as data management & data analytics specialist in Teradata, Dell and IBM. On a Pro-bono basis, Lip Gee is a Panel member of MDEC Talent Expert Network on Cloud Computing, he provides consultation to MDEC on national digital technology talent skill development roadmap and framework.
