Deepnoid, Vietnam Medical AI Platform Jointly Established… Collaboration with Global Digital Health Tech Company Ominext
The two companies signed a business agreement to build a hospital IT solution platform by integrating medical AI solutions in the Vietnamese healthcare market.
Ominext is a global digital health tech company and a subsidiary of OMI Group. It provides integrated platform services ranging from hospitals and clinics to treatment and patient service support to improve treatment efficiency. In addition to Vietnam, it has opened in Korea following Japan and Finland.
This partnership is part of Ominext’s healthcare platform, the ‘MECONG Project.’ The project connects medical institutions in Vietnam with global digital healthcare solutions, and Ominext plans to sell and deploy Deepnoid’s chest X-ray disease detection assistance AI solution, DEEP:CHEST, to medical institutions in Vietnam.
Deepnoid CEO Choi Woo-sik said, “This partnership is significant in that it allows us to expect results in the targeted Southeast Asian market,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that our overseas sales, along with the performance planned for the second half of this year, lead to actual results.”
Meanwhile, this agreement was signed at the '2024 Vietnam-Korea Digital Forum' hosted by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA). The forum, which aims to help companies from both countries expand their markets and strengthen cooperation between information technology companies from both countries, was attended by Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung of Vietnam and Minister of Science and ICT Lee Jong-ho of Korea, as well as 20 Vietnamese companies and more than 100 Korean companies.
