'addd' begins its overseas expansion in Vietnam with out-of-home ad effectiveness measurement.
addd launches overseas subsidiary in Vietnam
'addd', a startup that is leading the way in measuring the effectiveness of outdoor advertising in Korea based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology, announced in April that it has started overseas business by establishing an overseas subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Vietnam's advertising market is the second largest in terms of growth rate and the fifth largest in terms of size among ASEAN countries, with high growth potential, and the digital transformation of advertising media is taking place mainly in major landmarks with high foot traffic. We believe that advanced ad-tech technologies such as addd's outdoor advertising effectiveness measurement solution are suitable for the Vietnamese advertising market, which has high potential for outdoor advertising.
'addd' is a developer-oriented AD-Tech startup that is differentiated from existing advertising companies, and has installed and operated its outdoor advertising effectiveness measurement solution 'addd-i' in major locations in the city center with high traffic, such as Gangnam Boulevard, Myeongdong Street, and the subway. In addition, the company operates the smart media business 'DALGO D', which has an AI-powered internalized effectiveness measurement solution (Conneted TV medium) and is installed and operated in clinics and offices.
“We have already proven our technology and potential in the domestic market as we closed our Series A earlier this year, so we are optimistic about our chances of success in the Vietnamese market,” said Bon-sung Koo, head of the Vietnam subsidiary. ”Rather than being afraid of new markets, we will rush to establish ourselves in the Vietnamese market through active promotion and MOUs with a start-up spirit.” Currently, addd is focusing on building a network with media companies and advertisers, which are major players in the Vietnamese advertising market, and has successfully completed a number of MOUs and POCs.
