addd airs MINI's new vehicle commercials via Korea's first legal LED billboard truck, "Dalgo T"
'addd' airs a worldwide MINI campaign on "DALGO T", the AI-powered LED billboard truck.
AD-tech company 'addd' (CEO Ahn Sang-hyun) announced on the 12th that it has launched the first official advertisement of "Dalgo T", the AI-powered LED billboard truck that combines commercial vehicle and outdoor advertising. A worldwide campaign from premium automobile brand MINI.
"DALGO T" is a new smart advertising medium that has been developed by addd over the years. The truck is equipped with "addd-i", an artificial intelligence solution that can measure the effectiveness of outdoor advertising (exposure, viewing, attention span, gender, age), enabling big data construction. In addition, it is the first LED billboard truck in Korea to receive regulatory sandbox approval from the Ministry of Science and ICT by passing various conditions, such as safety, to minimize driver vision disturbance by transmitting pedestrian-oriented ads.
The campaign will run for six weeks, focusing on areas with high foot traffic in Gangnam, Hongdae, Yeouido, Jongno, Euljiro, Seongsu, and Jamsil. In addition, MINI advertisements are also broadcasted through addd's smart media, "DALGO D", and the large-scale billboard of the DA Building located in Teheran-ro, which has a large foot traffic, to reach a large number of potential customers with wide coverage.
“It is encouraging that we are the first in Korea to realize the transmission of advertisements using commerical vihicles, which have been difficult to execute legally, through the regulatory sandbox and the first to advertise the new car from MINI, a premium car brand,” said an addd's official. We will continue to expand our fleet of trucks and improve our technology to establish ourselves as a new medium in the OOH market.”
